do you think dogs can talk?

My dog can kind of talk - as in when he barks i'll know what he means by it.

When we ask him does he want to go for a walk, his ears go back and he runs to the door with this cute bark/whimper thing.

They can communicate between themselves and you can read their body language to tell what they want/feel.

I know you can train them to sound like the are saying things, but it's not like the know really what they are saying and can hold a conversation.
