I found this answer on "yahoo answers"
they first took off the wire, and then they took these thick plyers and ripped them off. it did not hurt.. trust me!! :]

they cleaned off the glue that had them attached

your mouth will not be sore, but you will think that our teeth are huge.. :]

you might not want to eat chewy stuff right after but you certainly could..

and by the way it doesnt hurt at all!!!!! :]

and a picture of train-track braces for jaida007: Image
You can have coloured elastic things on them though, I used to have pink ones. My boyfriend used to have the green ones, he said he liked braces because they made him look mean. - He's a silly thing.

I didn't mind having them on I wanted braces but after having them on for however long it was I was glad to have them off.

It doesn't hurt at all. Here it is step by step:

1. first they take off those things on your molars

2. Then they take the wire out of them

3. they wiggle off the brakets

4. Then they scrape the glue

5. Then they polish your teeth (my favorite part) so they're all shiny and white

6. Then you get a retainer (only if you need one) and they show you how to put it in and stuff

I have my retainer, and it's blue. It can come out.

it hurts worse to have them out on than off....i think... so dont be scared
