thats so stupid,because this kid cant explain neopets right we have to suffer.there are other ways to get money,theres no orphanage just a pound and you choose to send it there,and i dont think the casinos are gonna let a 9 year old in,and if your parents dont see the sign ''vegas or bust'' and you hitchhiking outfront then thats that family's problem.

I would like someone to show me where it says that neopets is going to be shut down because it doesnt say that at ALL. This is just a panic producing board. Anyway, neopets was originally made for college students and when you signed up you had to use the number for you college to activate your account. Now it has been over run by little kids and accounts get frozen for the slightest thing. Before, freezing an account only happened when something REALLY bad went down and now if you say you want a certain pet to adopt from the pound, you get frozen. That is crap. It should be an adult site once more!

Yeah I agree, it didn't say that Neopets was going to shut down. But, still, it would be kind of bad to shut down the gambling parts. I use them a lot and I think they are so cool! But gambling on a website to get neopoints is not going to tempt people to do it in real life. I mean, on Neopets, it is just for fun. You can play gambling-like games to get NP which you use to buy food, toys, and similar things for your neopets. I mean, people aren't going to be like, "ooohhh I gambling on neopets and I win some NP and some rare items!!!! I'm going to try gambling in real life!!!!" People don't think like that. People aren't that stupid. Well, hopefully they are not anyway.
