Hazelwood took in what Phoenix had said into his head, reminding himself to thank her after for giving him a ride, however until then he just gave her a slight nod to show recognition of her words. Walking forwards rather quickly, he ducked to his left and swung deep into the zombies jaw, the slowly eroding and greying flesh flying off of it's face, however it didn't seem phased at all by the punch. Seeing this, Hazelwood stepped back, looking towards Phoenix "Your turn" He said challengingly, clearly wanting some sort of a game to come into the situation.

Phoenix watched Hazelwood intently, lifting the crowbar up to waist height and holding it tightly in both hands. She stepped forwards at her cue, nodding and letting a smirk play on her lips as she lifted the crowbar higher. "It wants us to be its lunch," she said, jumping back half a step when the zombie advanced. She swung the crowbar back, then smashed it into its side, not even flinching at the impact.

Adelaide ran through deserted d=st after deserted st and slowly the the streets stopped being deserted the closer to the airport Adelaide got the more zombies there were and Adelaide couldn't hold them off forever. Eventually Adelaide was forced to retreat. She found an abandoned hotel and took the best room, Maybe she'd find a way past the zombies tomorrow.
