Approximately how long will it take a backordered Tamagotchi iD L to be shipped? I ordered mine last Friday, so I just wanted a general idea of how long it'll be until HLJ ships my tama.

 
Update: My little boy was a Teenager when I woke up this morning and a few new things happened. My star shaped seed produced a carrot, and it went into my inventory. The next time I went to the park a character there bought it from me for $100 a profit of $50! A new store appeared, this one is an Ice Cream parlor.

I figure out the hamburger game finally. The object is to take bites out of the burgers on the plate using EITHER the A or B button. If you take a bite near a skull when it is lit up black, you get shot with yellow gas, it scares you off and a giant bird eats all of the burgers. You have 30 seconds to eat all of the burgers. High score is $200 like the jumping game.

On the jumping game: If you catch the Red Heart, it turns the snakes, poop, and bees to Gold coins you can catch and all you have to do is avoid the rocks. You need to either jump or catch all the coins for a perfect score of $200.

Items: So far everything I have bought is for cleaning, or this weird angel faced thing you can ride on. When you use the painters pallet, you go outside and paint a portrait of Mimitchi. I am guessing the three options for when you select an item are USE, then GIFT, or DISCARD as I somehow discarded my winged thing the first time I had one. Second seed is planted, we will see what becomes of that.

There is a plant in a jar you can buy. Twice I have done the first option, and first a test tube of liquid pours on it, then a beaker full, then it starts to grow, gives off light beams, then dies. So I don't know about that one.

I believe HLJ's backorders status says something about approximately 4 to 6 weeks. But, hopefully it'll take much less than that. (I also have Tamagotchi-iD L on backorder with them.)

Here's my description of the iD-L:

The iD-L is in Japanese, as everyone probably expected. It's in colour, too! The graphics and pixel size are excellent, and so are the characters I've seen so far. I tried out changing my room style to a pink luxury sort of room, and it was beautiful! I'm very impressed with how well BanDai has done in designing the iD-L.

There are only 2 games that you can actually play when it is a baby: there's one where you have to guide a Mametchi over and under obstacles, collecting Gotchi Points, and also one where a Kuchiaptchi moves round a plate of cookies and skulls and you have to press B when it is looking at a cookie, do nothing when it is looking at a skull.

There is a mini market in the place of the park, and in it you will meet a Tama character who will sell you something of your choice.

If any of you were wondering, the iD-L does not connect to the TMGC+C but does connect to the iD. It has no TamaTown option.

Please try again. Photos from a Japanese blog seem to indicate they can connect, however Nazotchi appears on both when doing so.

Update on my HLJ order: I've cancelled my order with them (hopefully bumping everyone else up a notch in their queue) and placed an order with another Japanese vendor. The price will be a little bit more, but their status is "in stock." I'm willing to pay 400 yen more to get it 4-6 weeks earlier.

P.S. To the several members who have written "Tamagotchi-iD L first look"-type posts in this topic: please be aware that this is a news topic. Anyone looking for helpful hints and reviews will have a hard time finding them buried within this topic. Your posts would be better suited as a new topic in the Tamagotchi Tips and Tricks forum, or as a log in the Tamagotchi Logs forum.

Tama ID L Update!

Woke up today to an Adult Tama! I got Mametchi!!! New stores added to the Door/Out Option: Clothing store!! There are outfits for sale ranging in price from $1500 to $4000 each in the first option, and a whole bunch of hats and other accessories in the accessories store! Still two Out locations to unlock, one I am guessing is the Matchmaker, and the ?????? is the Secret location you get when you collect all of the Charms. So far I haven't found a way to get one.

Anyone else figure that out yet? Maybe you have to be an adult to get them? I'm off to play games like a madwoman so I can buy a kitty!

Edit: Don't feed your adult Mametchi rice bowls. He has a hissy crying fit.

None of the adults like the sweet plum rice. It's just like on the original iD.

And, I hate to break this to you, but they're not kitties for sale--they're outfits. That just the accessory store you went to. The first option is outfits, and the second is accessories. The kitties are just mannequins for the outfits. :)

The answers are "YES," "NO," or "DELETE."

LOL I figured out about the outfits when I went back to purchase them. My guy now has overalls.

Thanks for the clarification on the item use choices. Do you know how to get to the pet store, or is that an online thing only?

Also, do you have any idea how to fill in the Lucky Circles?

I did the same thing for the same reason, The wait is taking too long for my impatience to play with the new Id L :p

 
I'm planning on getting this tama in September since my birthday is September 12th.(let's see if I can stay away from the logs XD I wanna figure it out myself but the iD-L stuff is fun to look at!)

The new characters...0.o erm...I dono if I can get used to them or not.I miss the apple/peach like babies too! :(

(EDIT:now we have lucky circles?!what happened to TAMATOMO?)

Well, I ignored my first pet, a Mametchi for too long on Saturday while I was working a convention, so it left me a note, and left. I restarted it, and now I have a cute little girl. I still want to figure out how to get the pets.

 
Yay! I just received my blue and pink ID L today, sooo cute!
