I was wondering why am I unable to put a hand on the .apk of the japanese version of the 4u app ? All links had been removed, and it seems impossible to find it online anymore. I am glad some folks did their best for making an english app available, which is great by the way, but I really wanted to try out the japanese one, does someone know where can I get it ? It will still be possible with some diligence but it's not recommended. I won't post the link here because it might cause copyright issues.

The app is region locked, so you won't be able to download it the legit way from Google Play Store. There was actually warnings from BanDai to users who posted the app online. So better be safe then sorry!
EDIT:

The English app that we have now is actually "approved" by BanDai, so there won't be copyright/legal issues.

I do have a NFC tongle for PC... so I was wondering about it. Anyway, so there's absolute no way to download on PC and have it NFC to a 4U? ): I won't be able to use the send item as I don't have another 4U... my friend is facing the same problem as me too.

I'm so jealous of all this. I may be getting a 4u for my birthday, but I have an iPhone 6.

Does anyone know if it's compatible (with the japanese or english app) or if there will eventually be an ios version of this app?

 
Iphone NFC only allows for payments and doesn't use the Felica chip so it won't be coming to iOS.

Hello everyone !

I'm new here ( sorry for my english, i'm french ^^ ), and i really want the tamagotchi 4u ( I have tamagotchi ID L and P's, but i'm fed up of the infrared, it never works =.= )

I'm using the Huawei MT7 - L09 ( android ) phone, and I downloaded and installed the app ( in apk ) and it work on my phone, I can open the app, and view all downloads. If i can open the app, can i download the content you think ? My phone have NFC, but i don't know if it really works and i don't want to buy the 4u if i can't transfer any downloads...

If you scroll down the page the Huawei MT7-L10 is on the incompatible list so I wouldn't hold out much hope on the L09 working, especially given theres no Huawei's on the working list.

does anyone know if the Samsung a5 (Singapore version) will be compatible with the English 4u app? I can't seem to find it in the list.

 
Sony Xperia Z2 and Z3 works for transfer downloads and launch the app' ?

I want to to change my phone for my birthday, i love Sony Xperia Z2/Z3, so if it work with the tamagotchi 4u is perfect !

The Z3 (this one https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/SO-01G ) should work with the app :)

We don't have any info on the Z2, it seems no has tried it because is not on the lists~

The Samsung a5 (SM-A500F) doesn't seem to be on either of the lists, so I'm afraid it won't work :(

 
Does anyone know wheater the XiaoMi Redmi Singapore version can download Mr Blinky's app? I'm not familiar with my phone's code, so sorry if any inconvenience caused. Thank you! :)
