    Tamagotchi interfering with life?

I wouldn't recommend removing the battery, because, if the memory gets erased from long-term nonuse, you will lose all your progress. If it is below V5, just pause it. If it is a V5, go into Time Set Mode and leave it there; there is no real long term pause function in the V5.

Does anyone else find it hard to see the screen?

Just keep playing with it. The pixles are lighter on this version because the LCD is approximatly 2 times the size from before, while getting power from the same power supply. Contrast just changes the current driven to the LCD, but it also affects the light pixles. I have mine one notch ovr the...

    the reset button

I don't know much about the MM (except that they get mad if you're a Child), but the Reset button on the back of the tama, when pressed, resets the tama. If you press B, you can download (resume) or reset (format the memory chip and start all over).

Keeping your teachter from seeing your tama.

Not really... That would be like saying that if digital watches are allowed, bombs with timers would be allowed.

    Tamagotchi Expo Site

The site is used a lot (it's for all countries), but the servers might not be powerful enough. An offline version would be nice...

    V5 Money

I don't know the best way to make money on the V5. Whenever I play any game, max prize is always 100GP, web or on the tama. Any way to increase the prize? I'm on G1, the tamas are in Child stage. Bonding is 60-70%. DO NOT post any cheats here. I want to do this fairly.

It isn't faulty, but you'll get used to it. Adjust the contrast until it looks best, then grow to fit it.

Keeping your teachter from seeing your tama.

Tamas should be allowed at school, but only if they can be put into a low care mode, but that defeats the whole reason to have one. I personally don't bring any to school, but, if I did, it would be well hidden. Be creative! Try putting it in your binder, in a small case of wood on the front, so...

    Don't pause.

Well, the power drains at an estimated 1/2 the rate from before, giving that sound is off, each mode uses the same amount of power at all times, and LCD drain is ignored. I cannot get into further details about this because it would be off topic, and I don't have the needed materials to test...

Keeping your teachter from seeing your tama.

Book cutting is a waste of time and paper. Also, what if you forget it in the room ("I forgot my book" "The one which keeps beeping?"). Lanyards would be better to use, especially ones that can reach to your waist. You won't have to take it off to use it, and it won't be very noticable (I did...

    Don't pause.

Technically, as the LCD power has to be maintained, as well as the clock operation, so yeah, the batteries keep draining, slowly, however...

    help

Yeah, •FamiTama• posted a link to our V5 growth charts, in 3 parts (1,2,2a), to understand it fully, read ALL of it. On that page, there is also a link to the character charts, but you can always get the species names from the Info menu on the tama. First icon, FYI.

    GROWTH CHARTS PROVEN WRONG!

Yeah, characters depend on care...For example, ignoring any additional training and assuming the bond is 100% at the time of growing, if you got a Mamekatchi (I'm talking about the V5 for an example), then it SHOULD grow up info Mametchi. What if you overfeed it? You get Osumotchi. Underfeeding...

    V5 problem

The V5 is much different from the others. In the others, you always expect 2 babies to be made, split half-and-half. This one has support for 3 characters, so you expect to get 3 characters back, like how the one-character tamas give you one character back. Yeah, 1 egg is as common as 2 eggs...
