I think, though it may not be correct, that the Matchmaker comes after your tama has been an adult for at least 3 days, and comes at 10am, 3pm, and either 6 or 7pm, i don't know which.

It's definetly a real V2, as I saw one just like it in a shop in Wales the other day. I haven't got a V2 yet and I had to forcibly control myself not to by one there and then, as I knew I was getting one for my birthday. :)
