Mini's are exactly what it says...a mini tamagotchi (like they had to make the things any smaller) They don't have as many games and other options...but for the ultimate fan they're a cool accessory.

The pause thingy seems fishy... I have a V2 and a V3 and I leave them on pause for hours at a time while I'm at work and they've never died. I'm on my fourth generation for both...so do the math. Unless your battary is diying (even if it's new and just out of the box, you just never know).

I've seen them too... Can someone please clarify if they are fake or not? I don't see the BANDAI symbole which is the quickest way of telling a fake gotchi from a real one, but the pictures they post are rarely clear or detailed enough to trully tell. In my opinion I think you'ld be risking it.

I've seen photos of so called V8 on E-Bay. AND if you look closely at the packaging...there is no Bandai Trademark symble, the red square with the white Bandai letters on the inside....SO it's a big huge fake. All REAL Tamagotchi's have the Bandai symbole on the front of the box/packaging...

And I haven't bought one yet on my V2...so I don't even know what it does exacvtly

Well up here in Canada, we got our new V3 so I havn't seen any V2 for a while now......and I don't think I've ever seen a Tamagotchi Mini here...but I do want one....so all you market researchers let it be known people in America (US and CAN) want mini's lots and lots and LOTS of mini's. hehehehehe

I know that on the Tamagotchi V2 you can purchase a space ship in the shop...sometimes it's there sometimes not...I know that the shop changes its inventory at 3pm so check often...I don't know about the V3 yet though....havn't had mine for long.

Oh and one more thing. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCOMSTANCES THROW AWAY HER GOTCHI..... YOU'LL ONLY BE SINKING DOWN TO HER LEVEL OF STUPIDITY AND SHALLOWNESS Your not like her...you recongnise the wrong in her actions, so don't behave like her and make the same mistakes. Not to mention.... your mom...

It doesn't have Infra-red technology so your mom won't have to worry about late night Tama parties at your house. (Don't laugh...I have a 10 year old sister who has a Tama-club and hold sleepover meeting)

Maybe the battery is dying and needs to be replaced...my sisters V1 goes wonky when the battery needs replacing. Her V1 gets problems with the following 1- the pause doesn't work so well 2- she can't connect anymore 3- tamagotchi's die unexpectedly with new egg reseting 4- egg is on screen...
