that is most definitely a different teen stage than the one before! this most likely means he's inherited the Takotakoyakitchi body, but we'll see

Hoshipontchi should evolve soon as well

i fell asleep for a little while, so i'm not sure when it happened, but Hoshipontchi is Hanbunkotchi now

i also changed to the carousel room in advance so i can unlock the last location that Peonitchi can't give him a ticket for in a couple of generations

Hanbunkotchi and Peonitchi had a tama pet playdate

they ended up with some somewhat odd-looking cute little fellows

peonitchi evolved! as expected, it has the Takotakoyakitchi body, and it looks very cute with the snow hat

it's time to search for eligible marriage partners again

hanbunkotchi became mametchi, so i decided to take a break from scouting out partners for Peonitchi to find one for him, since i figured it'd be easier to find a starter for a new second generation

and it really didn't take any time at all to find this little fluffball

thus, Citratchi was born

i'm excited to see how she turns out

coincidentally, while i was on the app, i ran into Peonitchi's grand-uncle (small world!) and someone's Itchigotchi from the LINE app (very cute, this is my first time seeing this sprite)

once my phone is done charging i am going back to looking for a marriage partner for Peonitchi

finally, i managed to find another eligible Tamagyaotchi

and, Rhodonitchi hatched, with a pretty stellar-looking family tree (too bad the picture i took of it came out kind of poorly, but there's always later)

rhodonitchi evolved and is no longer pink (whoops), but is very cute

I love how much the purple hat persisted haha, I assume it is a gene and not an accessory?

yep, that's a trait from Kumanomitchi, one of the station-exclusive characters

i like it better in the different colors i've ended up with it in than the original orange Kumanomitchi has

citratchi's evolution! her head fruit has turned grey

this teen stage corresponds to the Mametchi body, but as with Tamagyaotchi, i'm not sure which teen stage corresponds to Shisagoyatchi, so it could possibly be either

rhodonitchi evolved as well, and has returned to being pink

that is the same teen stage that corresponds to Takotakoyakitchi, so might be that again, but we'll see

(also, the scratches on the screen have gotten worse, so i have ordered some scratch remover)

citratchi became an adult! she's a little plain, but still quite cute

i think i will wait until tomorrow  when rhodonitchi evolves to look for marriage partners

Rhodonitchi evolved this morning! at least the name ended up being appropriate for the eye color, haha

(the scratches are really visible here, i made them worse trying to buff them out with a baking soda mixture... the scratch remover can't come soon enough, haha)

Citratchi married some ice cream, and Spearmintchi was born (and then i accidentally captured him in between two different frames of animation)

i am going to start searching for a marriage partner for Rhodonitchi now!

i haven't found a marriage partner for Rhodonitchi yet, but while i was on the app, i did spot Citratchi's sister and two of Rhodonitchi's brothers! the twins even sent likes to flag me down, i love to see it, haha

okay, i finally managed to find an eligible partner after a few hours, and...

wow, that's one of the cutest sets of traits i've seen together yet

i'm really excited about this one!

Statitchi! i was very confused as to why he came out green when both parents were blue, until i saw his grandparent there! i hope this increases his chances of inheriting the Tamagyaotchi body, if he that is who he ends up taking after. exciting!

yes! that's a different teen stage than Takotakoyakitchi's one, so i've almost definitely gotten the Tamagyaotchi body this time!

also, that's three color changes after evolution now

(the scratch remover came, but i think it filled in the scratches with a different consistency than the screen, which worked well enough with the smaller scratches, but it made the bigger ones more obvious because the light shines through oddly on them now... oh well, i suppose it adds character)

Spearmintchi hit the adult stage! and he is spearmint-colored again

somehow, he is exceptionally cute

i have class tonight and won't be able to look after a new baby tamagotchi very well, so i think i will probably keep him until tomorrow
