Wow, this topic is getting heated and off topic. People's opinions are flying around...

Anyhoo, I don't get my schedual until the first day. I want it now, though. That way I could find out who's in my classes. I always have to memorize two and a half scheduals. I try to remember mine, my best friend's (she gives me her's and I give her mine. We stalk each other.) Also, my close friends and I like to know where we all are before break and lunch each day so that we can all meet each other (big school), so let's call that a half. xP

We (my sister and I) don't usually get our schedules until the first day of school, but this year we got it this week.

1 - Photography (1st Sem.)

1 - Health (2nd Sem.)

2 - Symphonic Band

3 - Algebra 2/Trigonometry Honors

4 - English 10P Honors

5 - Spanish 4

6 - AP European History

7 - Free (Lunch)

8 - Chemistry R Enriched (A Days)

8 - Physical Education 9-12 (B Days)

9 - Chemistry R Enriched

If it doesn't specify the day (A/:) or the semester, then it's every day/all year. Sorry for the fancy names, I just took it straight from my schedule. We don't, however, know our teachers yet. The only two classes I think I'll stress over are AP Euro and 10P. You probably know about Euro (ugh...), but 10P is pretty much the equivalent to an AP English class, though it doesn't count as an AP class. It's a tough course; we had to read "The Odyssey" over the summer and will be reading many books throughout the year. There's only one teacher for it, but I had her last year and my sister had her twice, as well, and she likes me :( .

I'm a sophomore, by the way. My high school starts in 8th grade, and the middle school starts in 5th. Weird, huh? Not for me :p ! 8th grade classes are restricted to only other 8th graders, unless you take certain electives and/or clubs, so it's pretty much just getting used to being in high school for a year.

Wow, that was pretty long...

This is the only time I'm going to argue this. I don't want to rear too far off topic, but I wanted to say something.

There is a right and a wrong way to do things. But illegal immigrants have done something, well, illegal. And breaking the law, in any sense, is NOT okay. If a poor person robs a bank because they're "trying to have a better life" that doesn't make it okay. They still stole someone else's money. Just because immigrants want to have a better life doesn't mean they have to sneak across the border. They'll create an even better life for themselves by getting legal citizenship. This way they won't have to sneak around, and they'll be able to find better jobs because they're actually citizens of the United States. I get that it takes a while to be granted full citizenship, but everyone has to obey the law, no matter what.
I completely agree. I was going to say something like this until I saw that you already said it for me. Thanks. lD

Anyway, I already posted my schedule but it may be changed just a bit because I'm auditioning for the advanced theater production class and the people in my Algebra III class are all idiots. :D

Wait, I think my schedule is still messed up...

They gave me lunch sixth period. My friend Amelia (aka the principal's daughter) said that for accelerated students (e.g. me!) lunch is either 5th or 7th period... Maybe I just misunderstood what she said. I think other people got it sixth too. Maybe I just messed up by telling her that I had it fifth when really I had it sixth. Whatever. I have orientation on Tuesday so I'll just find out then.
