:p :p :( :( :( :( :(

i not allowed 2 wear tube tops!!!!!!1

i wanted 2 show every1 mi fatness!~!!!!!21

We have a uniform and thats where almost all the rules aimed at.

With our winter uniform our top buttons must be done up and hidden but the tie.

No socks to be worn with sandals.

And on mufti days 'Excess visible skin is not permitted' 'Shorts must be at least 5cm long in the leg' 'Your stomach must not be visible' 'Visible bra's must be removed or covered up' - that one is bad because people remove it because they don't want to cover up and their tops aren't good at covering anything and lots of girls wear see-through white tops or popular ones that have lots of holes in them and are designed to be layered with singlets, not bra's!!!

All the rules at my school arent too bad:No super short shorts or skirts

No bangs covering your eyes or one eye

No color in your hair unless Principal says its ok

No clothing that is too colorful (Like no Leopard skinny jeans, rainbow jackets, ect)

But in general:

At my school if the Principal doesnt like it, it goes.

If she doesnt like your hair, you have to change it.

If she doesnt like your shirt, you have a to wear a super long baggy shirt over it.

If she doesnt like your shoes, You have to buy new ones.
The bangs one, I'm not emo, but I WOULD prefer to have long bangs. I like the style better for some reason. I would refuse to part them at the time if they weren't bothering me. "My hair. MY RULES."

No ZIPPER hoodies. Hoodies without zippers okay

No gum in middle school, but allowed in high school

No hair color or styles that are not natural

No camo

Gym socks must be white, and Shirts must be a school supporting shirt

Sakura3200: My bangs are like the main part of my hair D= I look stupid with them long. I have to have it covering my eye

Wow NEABYSS. D: Those are terrible. WTF? I think it's a violation of expression... it could probably be argued as a violation of the 1st ammendment. Somewhere. I think.
Our school dress code is very basic. No swearing, porn, or violent images on your shirts. No bandanas. No steel-toed shoes. Skirts must fall below your finger tips when fully extended. No strapless tops (though spaghetti straps are permitted).

The only ones I have a problem with are: No camoflauge unless you are in JROTC and are in uniform. No ripped jeans, even if you have leggins underneath.
Our hair can be any color we want. On the last few days of school, my friends and I always get that spray on hair color and cover practically our whole heads in random colors. We've done it two years in a row, going for three at the end of this year. :D

For Halloween we wear cat ears around every year. Teachers tell us we look adorable (strange, I know). We wore them on Twin Day too.

They used to sell cheesesticks at school (why did they have to get rid of them?!) and on the last day of lunch we always went up and bought massive ammounts of cheesesticks. The first year it was 27, and last year we did 48. It's hilarious. We walked up to the line and said, "48 cheesesticks please." And the lunch ladies give us the WTF look. xDD

Sorry, that was off-topic. But I had to mention it. :p

We're allowed piercings anywhere, as long as you take them out for Phys. Ed. There are like a lot of people at my school who have nose/eye brow rings, and the school could care less.

Tattoos are fine, wear as much make up as you want.

We're supposed to take our backbacks/purses/totes to class/lunch with us. You get wierd looks if you don't. O___O

You're only supposed to go to your locker in the morning, before lunch, after lunch, and after the last bell, but they're much more relaxed with it at the high school than they were at the junior high school.

Our school has really strict security rules though. DD: Like, you have to go through a metal detector before you enter the building. If you go off, you get everything searched through. Any open bottles are tossed. (It's SO annoying when you have a water bottle, took all of one sip, and then the security guards through it away!! D:< It's such a waste.) If you even have scissors in your bag, you get sent to the officie. My friend last year accidentally left a small pocket knife in her winter jacket pocket from over the weekend when she was in the woods building a fort. She had no discipline record, but once they found the knife (She didn't even know she had it on her.), she was suspended for 2 weeks and then had to go to court to see if she would be expelled or not. DD: WTF?! She got to stay though, but now her record is ruined.

Drug dogs come sniff out the school on a regular basis. ;-;

But most of our school rules are relaxed. :(

At our school, we have to wear khakis and polo shirts in school colors and no flip flops and our hair has to be natural colors. Other than that...they don't care.

And Cinderpelt, your neighborhood must be like bad or something if drug dogs come to your school a lot.

They came to my school like 2 years ago, and that's it. Some kid actually got caught. He had acid and all these drugs in his locker. And back then, that was like 6th grade.

Our school is so stupid and pointless. It's like one of the worst schools around. We can't carry bags or purses with us. We can't get up at lunch. Idk. Everything there is just pointless. ):

Are you serious? Or just trying to be funny? Because to me, personally, it sounds stupid.

Anyways...

We have rules for specific classes...

ALL classes[Excpt: Band, Chorus and Jazz band.] :

No talking when no lesson or test is going on. We can't even talk while typing. >[

Band:

NO SUGAR FOR WOODWIND OR BRASS. It WILL give mold or red rot[Trombones].

Not talking during a song. Even if you have a rest.

I can't say Tuba. Mr.H will set it back a week for me to try it out again.

Jazz band:

DO NOT chase the monkeys.. Monkeys are 1st graders who like to watch us perform.

I like chasing the monkeys.

Do not complain when we play play Freddie Freeloader last.

Don't complain if your Jazz partner has higher or lower notes than you.]That Means YOU Scott!]

Summer band:

[it's IN school, but during the summer when theres no school.]

No acting wild in the hallways.

Do not say inappropriate stuff if your gonna play Telephone. Mr.H wasn't when we said "Michael likes to wear ladies underwear."

No shoving the small kids[Like Jason] in the cabinets. >[

yea my school is pretty strict............. ^_^

Hm, well, that's what you get in a private catholic school I suppose.
i go to public school.............

^_^ sadly..........

I would get in so much trouble at a school like that xP

I refuse to take my acrylic nails off, and I'll wear my hair however I please.

My schools didn't have too strict of rules, but my friend's high school was insane.

No flip flops, no hats, no sunglasses, no logos, no baggy pants, no tank tops or low cut t-shirts, shorts to be knee length or longer.

Ridiculous in my eyes.

Hmmm. Generally, my school deosn't have any ridiculous rules.

Here are some rules applying to the dress code:

You must wear your school uniform everyday (Excluding mufti days, but you have to donate a gold coin).

Shoes must be protected & covered (no high heels, thongs, etc.)

Shoes must be black (Except for P.E)

Socks must be white.

Here are some of the rules I enjoy:

You can bring ANY electronic device to school (Laptops, tamas, Ipods, MP3s, Mobile Phones, etc.)

Music can be played in some classes (Not on a Ipod or whatever, We all listen to the radio, depending on what teacher we have...lol)

This is my schools punishment system:

If you break one of the main rules, you will get on a contract, which can last up to the end of the year, depending what subject you break the rule in.

If you break a main rule again while your contract is still valid, you are given a head teacher contract.

If you break a main rule YET again WHILE THAT CONRACT is still valid, you will be moved to the time out room (a small room with nothing in it, so you get bored as hell) for two days. After getting out, you are given a conduct card which monitors your behaviour.

If you break a rule again, you are supended.

If you break a rule again, you are expelled.

I reckon that system is fair & square. What do you think?

Last school I went to we just couldn't wear belly-shirts, backless shirts, flip-flops or tangtips.

But being homeschooled I can wear what I want.

DUN DUN DUN.

BTW. Have some rules there?

With my school it's one of the biggest(probably is the biggest)high school in lower Michigan. Coming along with this means there are a lot of safety concerns.

The rules-

Before graduation you must meet with your gudience consuler

Lanyards and ids are required to be worn. Loss of one requires you to buy one immediatly.(I.d.=$5, and lanyard=2)

You must have the same colored lanyard as everyone in your buliding(We have 2 bulidings, Freshman Campus and 10-12 buliding.)

11 absences equals an E in what ever class you missed.

If you pass you do get NC(No credit meaning you can take it again.)

Regular dress code nothing to short, promoting violence etc.

To use the bathroom you must haved a signed planner, no planner=no pass

Not attending saturday school is a suspension the next week.

search and seizures are performed with or without the students knowledge

Alcohol and breath testing are performed when an instructor thinks you consumed alcohol.

All students must comply with police questioning upon request.

No gang activities.

No leaving class or school without permission

No misuse of any materials

No PDA(Public display of Affection...Many people ignore this.)

No cheating, gambling etc.

All other stuff(no sexual harassment etc)

There is a lot more but I don't feel like listing..

Then for our althletes its way stricter.

But yet again it is a pretty big school. Just this year there were over 900 freshmen alone
