This is very annoying. The sixth graders at my school think they are all that. So during one of my elecetives (sign language), the sixies were all, "iZ thaR An SIGn 4 EmO???". Then they turn to me and I was wearing a MCR band shirt and they were all "oH uZ ZoOOOoOO EMOz." And I can tell you that I am defenitly NOT. So I was wondering is all sixies were THIS immature. I mean I know that us 8th graders aren't any better but then they started making up a sign for emo. It was suposed to look like they were cutting their wrists with pen caps and hanging themselves by their shirts. Even us 8th graders would not do that. And when I felt like I wanted to punch the living [cencsored] out of them they said "UhhH R thair eMO ZinErZ?" so I excused myself to the bathroom and started banging my head on the wall. So my point is ARE ALL SIXIES THIS IMMATURE?

Nope. Not me. I'm a sixth grader. But it's the other way around for me.

uh, we don't do that stuff with emo...

Looks like you got a bad bunch of grade six students in your midst. As I suggested in another topic, if you don't feed the troll(s) then they starve and either leave or die  So really just continue to ignore them and they'll either run out of ammo or just bored. It's difficult, but it works.

yeah some kids in my school are really immature especially sixth graders i think is probably because they just came out of elementary school and they dont know how to control themselfs and another thing is that not all sixth graders are like that some are mature some arent

Well they're 6th graders.... If I walked into a middle school I'm sure people of all grades would stick labels on me. Just ignore it.. dumb kids and their labels... Avoid the 6th graders.... I did while I was in middle school.

Don't worry.

People think I'm emo because Fall Out Boy is my favourite band. >.<

I find the term "sixies" offending. I'm a 6th grader, and I wouldn't say I'm immature. But the boys are. But you know, boys will be boys. As for the girls, we always get into little bickering arguments and there are a select few that think they're perfect. But none of us ever acted like that.

There is a huge maturaty gap from sixth grade to eight grade- granted not everyone works like that but in general I could tell a world of difference.

We all have our moments and feel more able to be more out there when we're with friends. Only the REAALLY obnoxious ones would do that by themselves not surrounded by their friends.

Just ignore 'em.

Well, I'm a sixth grader, and I am not immature like that. But, there are some guys in my class that are like that. Annoying and all. But, like T/WP said, we all have our moments.

Yes it is, and I'm a sixth grader. People I know aren't like that. Maybe it's different where you are. I know this 8th grade boy from when I was in 5th grade. We had to take a tour to the Jr. high school and he was setting bad examples, like teasing one of my friends and littering. Trust me, some 8th graders -I'm not saying you- get on my nerves.

Yes. Most are immature...especially my class.

On the bus today, the guys all started going, "EWWWW!! DID U JUST BOMB THE BUS!?!!? CUZ IT SURE SMELLS IN HERE!! HAHAHAHAHA I FARTED! HAHAHAHA U FARTED! OMG THAT SMELLS LIKE POO! EWWW U GUYS ARE GROSS!! HAHA WE FARTED SO MUCH!!!"

o_o

I'm a 6th grader. :/

And I am NOT immature like you say those 6th graders were. First of all, I wouldn't EVER say someone's emo. That's just mean. I would NEVER say something like that to anyone, even if I do think they're emo.

Some people don't remember what it's like to be grade 6's. :/ I find it kind of offending too.

But I have to agree, the boys are. >.< All the boys in my class are EXTREMELY immature (even my crush xD lol. But he's not as immature as the others, but still immature. xD). They talk about weird stuff and things that I think I would be better off not hearing. >.< So, yeah.

Tamagirl_Desy: LOL!!! Sorry, but I could not help but laugh at that. xDD That is TOO funny. xD

And I agree with Emmatutu too (that sounded odd to say. xD). Teenage boys just think they can do whatever they want. I think that a lot of 8th grade boys are even MORE immature than 6th grade boys. No offence to anyone.

How annoying. I get that, but with people in my own class  '

The term 'sixie' isn't offending |:

If you're in 6th grade, you're a 'Sixie'. If you're in 7th, you're a 'Sevie'. Like if you're a Freshman, you're a 'Frosh', or Sophomore, 'Squashmore'.

They're just names given to a grade. It's nothing personal.

Why say no offence if it is meant to be offensive?

XD...lmao...Thats just disturbing. xD

But what can you do. There immature little 11 year old boys. o_o

They have this tendency to try and act the coolest by

"STANDING UP TO THE BIGGER KIDS" lulz.

Of course not all grade six's are like that. But most are.

I say fight fire with fire! > :D

Try teasing them back or something. ;)

Either that, or just ignore them.

Im in grade six. (Your questions a little offending)

Im not that imature, but most of the guys in my class are.
