I don't think stress plays a big part. After all, it's a new function. I had 40 stress once when I forgot to pause my Tamagotchi, but she still managed to pass auditions.

All of you guys who say they've taken "perfect care" of their pets are sadly wrong. You MUST not miss any attention beeps. If you miss one, eventually the icon will fade so you really can't notice anything except maybe a little poo at the side. I've gotten perfect care for all my generations...

Try practicing in a band while you're an adult... I didn't pass the first time, either. I had to wait for the 2nd generation before I did pass--keep trying, and post here if you get any changes. :)

Are you sure you're practicing enough? How many times have you practiced, and what are your skill points? Remember, the judges aren't actually real, and it isn't random how they select if you pass or not. <_<

It's also possible to play CD's (only compatible with Stereo) and change the genre. So for an example, your Tamagotchi currently plays Asian music. If you play a Latin music CD on the Stereo (bought in the Shop for 12,000 GP, I'm guessing) your Tamagotchi will switch from Asian to Latin music...

Lawls, the clay does expand, but I didn't word it well enuff--I pushed the foam clay against the screen, and when it dried, it expanded; but it doesn't make scratches on the screen or damage your Tamagotchi in ANY WAY, because foam clay doesn't stick to skin or clothes or anything. :3 I suggest...
