I do agree with some of you. I think that the reason parents are begining to dislike tamas is because they don't want their kids to become "unsociable" My mom doesn't really mind tamas and my dad always buys me new battaries. I have 2 or them , one v2 and one v4. Don't think that my parents buy me more than one though, my v2 my mum bought me but my v4 i won at my schools Pass the parcel ;)

The fact that kids are becoming unsociable with tamas and ds and stuff, even computers, well that annoys me , but there's nothing we can do. they are right, but theres not much else to do anyway.

I think some parents find tamas annoying cos they are always beeping for attention, but that's a two-way street. You shouldn't put yourself in danger in caring for a tama, such as when you're out walking and need to cross a busy street. Tamas do teach responsibility, but in caring for them, you need to be responsible for yourself as well. That's prolly why some parents don't like tamas too much. This is how I see it.

It is quite annoying when parents don't understand why we love our tamas so much but it probably coz when they were kids, they didnt have nintendo tamas and stuff like that. But my parnts dont mind if i play tama a lot, it only kinda annoys them when the are busy talking to me and im playin tama.

I am not surprised that they get mad though. I mean, if you were talking to someone and they had their head stuck in a game, and weren't even looking at you, you'd be quite tiffed off, too.

We have to respect and understand how they feel or the blance of tama and family could be upset. and I know some parents who will simply take away tamas if the balance is upset so be careful all you tama luvers

P.S "tama luvers" is not an insult, I am one! :p :p

Well mine was taken off me when I got addicted.Too much time on it I think.

Adding more to it later

My parents are like that. I think my dad thinks that I'm too old for tamagotchi, but he lets me buy them anyway. My mother thinks I'm too obsessed with them, because I just got v5 and immediatly wanted music star. My mom says I need to do other things, but I am doing toher things, it's just that whenever they see me I'm feeding my tamagotchi or something.

My parents don't mind Tamagotchis.

They think they're cool. xD

I left my Tamagotchis at home one day when I went to school, & my Mum took care of them & she said she liked it. xD

~ Bethiee. :]

My mom says that I'm too old to play with tamagotchis, and I told her that 15 year olds play with them. (Don't think she believed me, though)

My dad doesn't really care what I play with. Phew, at least I don't have trouble with him.

But when I asked my mom why she won't let me have some more, she told me that they're for little girls.

I think that it's the beeping that annoys her. (They can be pretty annoying)

Sorry, my post is out of order. (I think you got my point though :D )

My mommy loves tamagotchis she babysits for me!

:furawatchi: :furawatchi:

Mabye some of you guys moms who don't like 'em because they think of them as an extra kid to take care of or a baby doll for you to take care of.

But there not, their totally cool virtual pets!

Could a 5 year old take care of them, I DON'T THINK SO!!!

My mom likes our tamas (her favorite is the Takarotchi) My dad doesn't mind either; he says they're too tiny for him to see anyway. :D If parents don't like tamagotchis, then they shouldn't have bought us any in the first place!

:nyatchi: :p :pochitchi: :gozarutchi: :chohimetchi: :p :mimitchi: :mametchi: :kuribotchi: :ichigotchi: :hitodetchi:

One of the only reasons that parents might be annoyed is if your tamagotchi is taking up all of your life and restricting you from socialisation, and effecting your life. But I doubt anyone would get that far...

And the constant beeping can be annoying.

My parents don't really care ;)

My parents didn't really mind my tama's when I had them. (My first V2 broke in the middle of class and I gave away my other V2 because my mom refused to buy me a new battery and the "New battery please" noise got me fed up. All this happened about 3-4 years ago). They would get annoyed that I brought them to school but that was pretty much their only pet peeve(and I do have to agree with them because it did get me unfocused). What they liked most was that the tama also reminded me of my responsibility with my real pets so they were pretty happy that I was a responsible owner  . The beeping didn't upset them unless we went to a restaurant (yay for silent mode!! ). Other than that they didn't really mind them much, because it gave me something to do while we were at a boring place or something (kept me quiet too  .) My dad even stole it from me a couple times so he could play with it. xDD

My parents like my tamas. My mum even asks me how they are ^_^ When I'm in school(I can't take my tamas there ^_^ )my mum takes a little care of them(feeds them, etc) :D

My parent and grandparent even support tamagotchis, how else do you think I almost have 15

My moms faves are ichigotchi, sakuramotchi, and mimitchi, she even understands how there educational, she started it, she got my first one when I was like 5 or what

^_^ my step dad just gave mine back after he took it away, I was devistated to find that it was dead and the batteries were too!    ^_^

My parents say I'm obsessed with Tamagotchis, and that it's unhealthy. They also say that Tamagotchi is for little kids, and I'm too old to be playing with them, and should be concentrating on my studies.

My dad yelled at me for feeding my V4.5 once

My parents are like that to.

I was in a restaurant with a bunch of my family and I was constantly staring down at my music star screen. My parents didn't take it away but I was continuously yelled at for not paying attention to the family outing.
