Around a day...unless you happen to pause. Then they stay quite a bit longer...I don't suggest doing so, thiough. It can mess up the life progression of your tama.

I play anything I can get my hands on...I, too, have the ability to play by ear. Flute is my major, though. Its my life...its my only productive hobby, considering the other consists of small plastic ovals we call tamagotchis.

I believe you are talking about Tama Town. There, minigames are the entertainment, and they provide points, not skill skill points. ~Tama-Nut~

Depending on the version you have, it may just be having a temper tantrum...they do that in the really early and very recent ones. As stated before, try time out, and if that doesn't work, try feeding it something besides what the game offers as standard. (buy something from the shop...steak...

Debugging is extremely dangerous. I almost lost my tama that way...its very risky, and irreversable. As Ragna said, don't ever put it on pause, as this sets the process back immensly. Be paitent, pasr of the fun of having a tamagotchi is watching it grow. Have fun! ~Tama-Nut~
