I played with Dream Life at my friend's house once. It was pretty fun for a while, the pictures weren't that great...it wasn't very porpotional. The heads didn't match with some of the hair that you can mix and match with.. I take the animations quite seriously but, overall if you like playing...

I don't mind the prices going up..I would buy Tamas for anything! Tama music isn't a bad idea, but although I think that if a tamagotchi had music in it, it kinda misses out the whole point of a virtual pet. But again, it's still a good idea.

I'm not very sure, but it does look a lot like the Japanese Kakeibo..It might be a new version of it! I think this because of the ball on top has the symbol for 'Gotchi points'. It's pretty expensive, though.

It is possible that your tamagotchi may turn into a matchmaker from the chest. But for a whole day? It never happened to me... It sounds like a glitch to me!

You have to give your tamagotchi the love potion (honey) and your friend has to drink the love potion (honey) too. Then you connect them together and hopefully it is successful. Good Luck!
