It's not as easy as it seems, and it takes a good eye and some good editing.

punkrockchick110.. you ,my friend, really shouldn't judge wheather photography is an artform until you really learn the principles of lighting, contrast, angles, etc. There's more to it than you really think. Sometimes it is a "point and shoot" situation, but that is because some people may not have the more advanced equipment that may take more knowledge. Even if it is point and shoot, you still need to know the basics, and you can still create something wonderful. The definition of art is to create something to visually portray an emotion or idea, and if you could please tell me how photography does not fit that description, that would be wonderful.

Art is art. Please respect that before you talk. Saying photography isn't art should be a major slap.

I like all of your guys' stuffs.

You all have some really neat ideas, but if you try some stuff other than sunsets and flowers (though very pretty), I bet you could create some awesome things.

There's a lot more too it. Taking a simple photo isn't but getting all the right equipment and the right kind of shot is most definitely art.

I'm a horrible artist but I love photography. I just got a decent camera and am having so much fun with it. Right now I'm concentrating on getting pictures of my gerbils. It's really hard, they're super fast and the flash can make them go white. I'm pretty proud of myself so far, though. Eh....Imageshack isn't working right now. I'll post later. >.<

My favorite~ The shadow is my dog Taylor.

And all of these are taken at my house so you get a little taste of where I live.

I don't take any classes on photography or anything but I really love it. <3

Nice pictures. You should be careful taking pictures of the sun, it can burn your camera just like it can burn your eyes. I'm a photographer but I use a film camera and I need to learn how to develop it myself. Sadly, all my good photos are undeveloped. l[
