yeah, i feel really stupid walking into the aisle, where i see bratz and dolls and stuff to look at the tamagotchis. it's also really stupid that bandai would baby-ify the whole thing. i think all the v5 designs are very childish (but also happen to like 3 of them). and they make me feel nerdy...

hmmm...? i like the idea of wi fi. that would be like having a creature bopping around your i phone though.... communicating with your friends is a really cool idea.I'd like to message my friends and tell them about how my tamas doing... buttt- it would be really hard for bandai to make them...

don't even worry about that. cnet is like a totally fake place anyway. their stories are all bogus, obviously written by people who have no lives. xD yeah uhm they probably are just real big meanies.

DEFINITELY NOT! by reseting your tamagotchi you lose all its items and friends. if you just keep going through generations you can get the characters you like and more gps p.s.- what version are you using?

Post Script- tamagotchi don't wake up in the middle of the night. Even if santa comes they dont wake up... just to let you know that your tama would be safe at night! i used to think they would wake up in the night until i got to the toddler stage on my first tamagotchi. your tamagotchi sleeps with the time toddler- sleeps at 8:00 pm teen- sleeps at 9:00 pm adult sleeps at 10:00 pm they all wake up around 10am so turn off the sound if your in school or something. you wouldn't want it beeping in an important meeting either!
