Name:Alexander Sterling Michaels

Age:16 1/2

Gender:Male

Power:Spirit, which is mainly just a couple of tiny abilities(He can temperarily see into others' heads[only certain people though] and see what they do, and can create dreams for others and some slight compulsion) But he doesn't like to use it...

Appearance:Alexander's most noticable physical feature would be his bright ice-blue eyes. He has hair is pitch black- not dark cheasnut, but almost looks like it could be black- black. It is straight and shaggy and sweeps over one of his eyes. He's relatively tall, standing a little bit under six and a half feet tall. He isn't athlectically built but he isn't also thin and stragling. His body is about average, he doesnt go to work out or anything but he also doesn't starve himself or is extremely thin. His clothing style is casual, usually dark and plain clthes, jeans and a longsleevd shirt or a jacket. He has a rather bad-boy appearance.

Personality:Alexander has that typical bad boy nonchalant attidute. He doesn't really care what people think. He is a bit of a fighter but can also be a flirt. When he wants something he goes after it. He is the type who hits up every party he can, yet never is willing to actually throw one. He often seems cold and heartless but a lot of that is just a wall, if someone can break that down you can watch him really open up. He is not afraid to speak his mind and tell you exactly what he thinks, he is cocky and fairly arrogent and deffinately can be described as loud, and another few choice words that others have used to describe him.

Quick, Brief History:His life has been relatively normal, nothing out of the ordinary. He was born to a nurturing family with both parents and an older brother. His life stayed that way until his father died and then shortly after he was sent here. His entire life was spent living in his brother Dylan's shadow, never able to overcome his great grades, athletic ability, superb good looks, talent etc. His father died when Alexander was around 15-16. And has always been pretty much alone and likes to do things his way.

Crush:He doesn't exactly do crushes...

Other:He goes by Alexander, not Alex, never Alex. Alexander. Although other than his deteste for being calleed Alex you may call him what you like, if he doesnt aprove he will be sure to let you know.

Alexander pulled out the wrinkly paper, which he had previously crammed into his pocket. He stared at it for a moment, what an odd timetable. He wondered what Ability Practice would be like, he assumed it would be where one would practice their abilities, but how exactly would that work. Oh well, he shrugged and headed down the hall. He didn't bother trying to rush there, he couldn't really care less. He figured he was already late, so, so what.

Lyla almost tripped over her own long sickly legs. She believed that, after peeping into every class room, she had to be getting close to her assigned class. She folded her schedule neatly and placed it into her red hoodie that she was currently wearing. Honestly the goodie did her little justice...just naming her appear more pasty than she already was. She finally got to a set of double doors. She tugged on them and they opened to what looked like a large gymnasium. This had to be it.

Derek snapped out of his thoughts when he heard the door open. He turned his head to see a girl walk inside. He turned back around and allowed his gaze to fall to the ground again. He began to space out again, but was stopped when he snapped back into reality because a ball of water was flying right at him. He quickly dodged and jerked his head back to stare at the wet stain on the wall. Glaring, he tried to pick out the kid who had tossed the ball at him, but he couldn't see anybody who looked like they'd done it, so he sat back down onto the ground, and sighed.

Alexander headed down the pretty much empty hallway. He crumpled his timetable sheet back up and shoved it carelessly into the pocket of his dark black jacket. He was also wearing a pair of smiple classic jeans and a grayish toned tshirt. He had gotten room numbers on his squedule sheet and so he was able to figure out where he was going without any major problems. He saw the gymnasium at the end of the hall. He was at it after a minute or two and simply pushed through the door and entered the gym in silence and a rather smug look of nonchalance on his face. He paused once inside the large double doors, asses the room in seemingly non-caring way.

Derrick was beginning to space out once again when he was suddenly snapped out of his trance by the noise of the doors opening yet again. This time, it was a guy who walked in. The guy appeared to be alone, not in a group like the rest of the guys who Derrick had seen. With slight hesitation, he slowly got up and then walked over at a casual pace over to the guy. "Hey."

Lyla surveyed what other students were doing. Some of them really were quite powerful, and she secretly envied them. She glanced behind her at a boy who had just walked into the large room, and inwardly sighed in relief that she was not the only one who was late. Lyla once again brushed her curly dull hair off her shoulder and simply stood off to the side. She had no clue on what to do.

Alexander leaned against the cool brick type gym wall slightly. He was assessing the scene in the gym when he was snapped back by a sudden interruption. He focused in on the male in front of him who had spoken. " Hey," he said in the awkward way that he did, he wasn't one of those people who could easily just talk to strangers it always came out as sounding slightly awkward or confused. Almost as if he were trying to say 'why the hell are you speaking to me.' he glanced around the room. " What exactly is going on in here?" he asked watching the mess of action that seemed to be occurring.

After observing some of the other students, she simply concluded that this must be like some sort of gym class. The kids didn't really seem to have much restrictions in here. Lyla still stood off to the side, her powers would do her no good in this class anyway. She wished she had a nice book to read so she could at least be focused on something else. She slid down agaisnt the wall and tapped her slim fingers on her knee idly, pretending to be entertained.

Beginning to feel at least a bit more natural and less lonely, Derrick replied, "Seems like all the kids except a few of us have already begun to form cliques," he looked straight at a especially big group of boys and girls laughing and flirting, "And they seem to already be in full annoying mode." He finished his sentence as he let out a huge yawn from having woken up at 5 that morning.

Imogen was rather nervous. She was on a trip to australia when school started, she was really far away so she couldn't go sooner. She walked down the hall, hoping to see someone she recognises. So faar, she saw no-one, so she took refuge in what seemed to be the library. Imogen always goes to the library when she's bored or nervous, hoping to find a good book to get lost into. She sighed and randomly pickes up a book about mushrooms and fungi.

"Hmm,". Alexander said rather quietly, keeping the word short and thoughtful. He let his gaze follow Derrick's to the group and couldn't really help but smirk just a little bit. " So, what exactly is the point of this class? And shouldn't there be a teacher or something? Not that I'm complaining. " he wondered aloud. To him it looked more like what would happen during some for of free or break period, he couldn't really see having a class to stand around and talk. There wouldn't really be a point of even going. His eyes wandered around the room taking in all of the different types of people, obviously rich and popular kids, awkward loner types, major flirts, jock types. The list went on, it was pretty much like a regular highschool, except in this school for all you know the meak and mild little nerd could be able to transform into some giant or something. He could see this becoming amusing or atleast somewhat entertaining.

Lyla continued to tap her fingers against her knees in some kind of awkward drum beat. Before she could look up from her pathetic distraction, annilogocal ball of water smacked into her face, soaking her hair and clother. She stood up, alarmed, but then heard a half hearted "Sorry!" from somewhere far off. She offered a vague smile in that direction and tried to squeeze the water out of her blonde hair.

"No idea. I'm a new person here too, I wouldn't know. Thought I think the object of this class is to practice using powers.." Derrick was about to open his mouth to finish his reply to Alex when he heard the loud SPLASH! of a water ball making contact with the the head of some girl. He turned to Alex, and said, "Think I'm gonna go help that girl," he said, he said as began to break into a light jog. "See ya." He stopped when he reached the girl. "Hey, are you ok?" Despite the fact that he had been part of the jocky, popular group back at his old school, Derrick had always been willing to help other people; he was the vice president of ASB back home after all.

Alexander nodded. He didn't really care, not actually having to do work in a classwasn't something bad that he wanted to complain about. When he heard the splash followed by a rather fake apology and girlish giggles he looked toward the sound to see a poor girl who was now soaking wet. He decided to follow Derrick over to the girl. He walked past them though and turned into another door. He came out a moment later with a fluffyish towel. "Here," He said tossing it to the girls lap. He said it in a way that wasn't really in a caring way but more in a somewhat apathetic way, like he didn't really care much and it wasn't a very big deal.

Lyla glanced at the two boys' faces, she mumured a quick thank you and wiped the towel across her hollow face. "I'm fine." She said, running the fluffy towel over her spindly shoulders and dull hair. "I'm sure it must happen all the time." Lyla said absently. She tried to sponge up the rest of the water off of her red hoodie. It did the article of clothing little justice, so she just decided to let it dry on its own.

Alexander absentmindedly nodded to her. He simply shrugged at her assumption, he wasn't so sure. It almost seemed like it might have been done purposefully. He didn't say it out loud though, this girl seemed to be the optimistic type and he wouldn't want to burst her bubble. He just sort of watched her for a while with a rather blank expression. Figuring that he probably seemed to be staring creepily he decided he should speak. "I'm Alexander," he told her.

Huyana was in the library, hiding a comic book meant for children behind a larger book. Yes, this trick was slightly overused, but it wasn't like anyone was going to just come around and look what she was really reading [even though the pages of the larger book weren't being flipped, which was somewhat suspicious]. She was biting her fingernails and making small 'puff' noises with her nose. She was also, when not engaged in her comic book, staring blankly at the hallways, watching children older than her pass by, her tongue hanging slightly out of her mouth like a dog's. She wished she didn't have lycanthropy. She sighed quietly. She then placed her chin onto the table and continued reading, when she nearly threw up. A grotesque image included a werewolf [Huyana could tell from its body shape] being shot through the heart by a muscular man. A crowd hastily illustrated cheered on the man. Perhaps it was a contest or hunt?

But out of fear Huyana closed the book [without even minding to seperate the two books from each other] and instead began to speed-walk into the hallway, trying to relieve the image now fixed in her mind.

(I hope something will make me forget that.) Huyana thought to herself, grinding her teeth.

"Lyla." She said a bit skeptically. Lyla held out a slender hand for a polite hand shake. She remembered her parents would get extremely frustrated when she introduced herself incorrectly. She admired Alexander's light eyes, they interested her. But, before she looked like a loon she glanced away awkwardly at the wall.
