Some foods make a tama sick. It is a different food for each type of adult. Maybe you are trying to feed it the one food that makes it sick. I'm not sure if it is able to "learn" about the bad foods, or if it will always eat them each time you offer it.

Just because it is from Hong Kong does not mean it is fake. If it connects with Tamatown and with other Tamas it is probably real. The fakes don't bother faking that kind of stuff.

Each one is different. To find your tama's lowest healthy weight, keep playing games and do not feed it. When it's weight is really low, it will shake it's head and will not play another game. Now feed it one snack. THAT will be it's lowest healthy weight.

If you have not had it long, your best chance is to try to return it to the store where you bought it. Hope that works for you.

Your character will get better with practice. Also, the ones with more practice tend to win the ball rolling game when you connect.

Try putting the tama down on a table and using your pointer fingers on the buttons instead of your thumbs. Fingers are faster. Use your thumbs to hold the tama steady. Works for me. I can do the Musical Get with fingers but not so good with thumbs.

If you want your tama to stay up later, then you need to subtract one hour from the time on your clock. The tama will think it is 8:00 when really it is 9:00 for you. In the morning, the tama will think it is 7:00 AM when it is really 8:00 AM for you.

It is correct to hit the A & C button when you see two flags pointing in. Maybe you are not quick enough, or you did not press them together exactly at the same time. It happens to me too sometimes. Keep trying.
