I think it depends on how you take care of them.. im not sure what characters you can get.. like some you can only get if you take bad care of them, some good, and others great.

What ^ said. Yeah, just keep resetting, but I don't really see any difference. When the boys a baby, hes black, but after he grows up, he looks like a girl, always white. And boys are picky about what toys to play with.

Don't feel bad. I also just got a Hinatchi. I forgot to pause her when I went to school, and she pood four times, was sick, had no hearts left, and was super mad at me.   I FEEL SO BAD.

Star used to roll around when she was little, and when she became a adult, she would run up to the screen, wave & wink at me, or she'd brush her teeth, or take a bath. Lili (Star's child) has only rolled around so far.. xO

Take my advice. DONT TAKE YOUR TAMAGOTCHI TO SCHOOL. You never know when someone may steal it. And the questions; Yes, just wait until the mother leaves her child, then it will say "Name?" then you fill it out && stuff. And pause it ;P
