I thought that someone said you have to press B when the book is closed with the matchmaker to get a boy...but so far when I do that I've only been getting girls. =\ Is it the other way around, or does the book have no effect?

I have a V3 tamagotchi. Today the matchmaker came for him, but I didn't like the other tamagotchi she had picked out for him, so I said no, thinking I'd have another choice. Well, I didn't...the matchmaker left. Does that mean Cael is going to die without having a baby? :)

I finally got my tamagotchi today after WEEKS of trying to get one. Stores were always out of stock, but today they happened to have a couple. Now I got my tamagotchi...I pulled out the tab....nothing happened. I have no idea what's wrong with it.
