You can't really turn off your tama.

Your tamagotchi needs to have a baby first. Then when the parent goes away from the baby, you have one. I hope this makes sense.

Your tamas should be at least 6 or older to mate.

Mine did when I fed it a bbq hamburger.

It might take longer if you pause your tamagotchi a lot because it affects the growth of the tamas.

Could it be possible that you paused your tama? Cuz that could affect the time when your tama evolves.

Mine mated when one was 6 and the other was 7.

I think you got the hang of it. Like my tamagotchis are both in gen 2 right now. So their parents are gen 1. So if my tamagotchis have babies, the babies would be gen 3 and their parents would be gen 2 and the first tamas would be gen 1 and grandparents.

Gen means generation.

They have to be a bit older. Mine mated when they were 5 and 6.

I guess first you need the love/honey potion. And have 2 tamagotchi connecting a lot. Then they will appear married temporarily and tamababies will appear.

Sometimes the shop in your Tamagotchi sells it.
